Q1. How do I get started with EmArt Works?

If you are an individual client who is interested in our works, you may register with us. As soon
as we received your registration information, we will have someone contact you for your
specific request. Or you can visit our gallery and we can start from there.

Q2. What is EmArt Works’ process to make a hand-made silk embroidery art
work?

Since we are exclusively promoting the top quality silk embroidery arts, we get our hands on
from design ideas, in-house crafting and final finishing to keep our works’ unmistakable high
quality, originality and distinguish style.

Q3. How to tell the works are hand-made or machine-made?

Technically, machine embroidery is unable to use silk thread neither can split the thread to
different thickness due to the limitation of current technology. From this point, it’s easy to tell
that machine-made works are lack of the special shininess from silk and the fine
craftsmanship done by skilled hands.

A very fine hand-made silk embroidery art piece is the perfect combination of techniques and
art.

Q4. How do I know your works are worth the price?

Come to see our works in our gallery, and experience the silk arts like never before. You will
be amazed by our works!

Q6. Where are you located?

Our G allery is located in the historic Unionville, Markham, close to Highway 7, 407, and 404.
It only takes 20 minutes drive from downtown Toronto.

Q8. Do your works come with complete framing?

Works displayed in our gallery always come with complete framing, and are ready to hang.
The reasons are not only for your convenience, but also for the proper protection of the art.
We make sure to use the museum quality mat board and acid-free backing board with
premium frames to protect our works, and keep it the best condition for generations.

For travelers' convenience, we have our arts matted with the same high quality mat boards
and wrapped in acid-free crystal clear bags.

Q9. Can I custom framing?

Yes. Our custom framing moldings are wide range premium wood frames, many are imported
from Italy with hand paint on both sides. And our mat boards are acid-free premium museum
boards. We are willing to offer the complete custom framing services including framing,
matting and fitting.

And we also offer the open back frames with many sizes to choose from and all come with
matching glass and other accessories.

Q10. How to order Custom Embroidery?

Please email us with the work which you intend to get embroidered, with the size requirement;
or post mail to us. Based on the work, we will give your a free recommendation and estimate
quotations before you make the decision. The work will proceed with 50% deposit from you,
and the final work is only exchangeable and nonrefundable.

And please plan ahead, even a small sized piece may take a few weeks or more to be
finished.
